The St. Albans Amateur Radio Club (STARC) is located in and around St. Albans, VT. The club is a not-for-profit, general-interest amateur radio organization that promotes and enhances the amateur service.
Club Meetings
Club meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month.
Because our members are geographically diverse, meetings are held virtually on Zoom and start at 7 PM, usually concluding before 9 PM Eastern Time. We also hold breakfast/lunch get-togethers every quarter, usually the third Saturday of that quarter.
Email notifications for meetings include the Zoom link for attendance. If you are not a member but would like to join the meeting, email us at info@starc.org, and we’ll send you the link.
Amateur Radio Licensing
The club offers testing to obtain or upgrade your ham radio license. Exams are typically held on the 3rd Saturday of every month.
Membership
Members of STARC come from all of Northern Vermont. All hams are welcome to join the club. Membership is currently $20 per year, with a $25 family membership option.
Repeaters
STARC maintains two repeater sites, both operating on 2 meters and 440.
