Programs
The April 2026 program was DMR Basics. This is a DMR basics class to get an idea of the structure of DMR radio programming and how they interact with repeaters. I hope this clears up some confusion with DMR and the terms it uses.
The May 2026 program was an Overview of the ADK Multiprotocol Reflector by Alain, VA2WE, KD2WE. This presentation provides a high-level overview of the new ADK Multiprotocol Reflector, which was implemented to help converge traffic between several communication modes, including D-Star, DMR, C4FM, and analog.
The program will also briefly explain the purpose and practical use cases of these different modes for a general amateur radio audience.
The June 2026 program was an overview of FT8, including screen shots of a QSO and a couple of other programs that compliment the FT8 Software.
