ARES/RACES Recommended Power Connectors
Anderson Power Pole Connectors are recommended by the ARES and RACES organizations for use
by Amateurs involved in such activities.

One STARC member already has the proper staking tool for such connectors.
Caution!
In the new ARRL publication Emergency Power for Radio Communications book now available,
the author flags incidents when the roll pin has fallen out of a set and into circiitry. He suggests the use of
super-glue as an alternative to the roll pin. Many suppliers market these
connectors at under a buck per red/black pair, with minimum quanties being about
six to ten pair in a bag. One such supplier is MFJ Enterprisees.
